Ignacio founded IGAN in 2012. As well as managing the delivery of projects, Ignacio undertakes mine planning, financial modelling and mine services engineering tasks. Ignacio is based in Madrid.

Prior to founding IGAN, he worked in Spain, West Africa and Canada in roles of increasing responsibility at open pit and underground operations of Rio Narcea (Planning Engineer and Chief Engineer), Barrick and Teck (Senior Engineer), Redback Mining (Tech Services Superintendent) and Emed Tartessus (Mining Director)

With a sound background in operations, mine technical services and management, Ignacio has 21 years of experience across multiple commodities, mining methods, early mine development, mining project management, reserve/resource estimation, feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, mine commissioning and operations.
